Nora Mahmoud
Born in Virginia and raised all across the globe, Nora has lived in ten states and three countries. She graduated from the University of Michigan. She is happily married to Ahmed Ebeid and they share three beautiful children. Black belted in taekwondo, Taha is 17 and attends PCC Rock Creek to feed his natural curiosity. The most compassionate and authentic child who loves to play soccer, Yaseen is 16. Last but not least, the free-spirited princess of the house who loves art and all animals big and small, Misk is 9.
An advocate of a holistic approach to education, Nora homeschools her children and is her kiddos’ biggest cheerleader and advocate. Nora is also a foster mom from time to time and hosts refugees when the need arises. Her biggest passions are giving back to humanity and mother Earth, traveling and photographing the world, and reflecting on God and life. Nonetheless, her and the boys are avid football fans, as football is sacred in their home! After moving from Boston in 2008, she enjoys spending time hiking, skiing, white water rafting and camping with her family in the Pacific Northwest’s great outdoors. Fawzy Elbarbry
Fawzy Elbarbry is a pharmacist and a professor of Pharmacy at Pacific University. Fawzy received his pharmacy degree from Egypt and a PhD from Canada. Fawzy is married and has two kids, Moaaz and Menna. Fawzy lives in Hillsboro, loves to read history books and play soccer.

Ahmed Ebeid
the son of a United Nations employee, Ahmed Ebeid experienced the world from a very young age. He lived in six countries with his parents and three older sisters. After receiving his medical degree in Cairo, Egypt, Ahmed returned to America to continue his training. He acquired his residency in Chicago and two fellowships, one from Stanford University and the other from the University of Michigan. After working in private practice on the East Coast for seven years, he now has his own pain management clinic in McMinnville. A strong advocate of humanitarian relief efforts, Ahmed travels on medical missions whenever possible.
Living in Beaverton, he shares his life with his wife Nora and their two sons and daughter. Coming from a large extended family, Ahmed is always looking forward to hosting or visiting family. Ahmed’s family kindly foster children and hosting refugees arriving to Portland. Otherwise, he enjoys spending time with Nora and the children, playing chess at home and going outdoors to hike, camp, ski and white water raft. Razib Shahriar Shishir
Dr. Razib S. Shishir finished his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. He also holds a Masters in Data Science from UC Berkeley. Razib joined Intel in 2010 in Hillsboro, Oregon and still works there today. In 2016, Razib founded Cool Islam with the mission to educate, empower and establish our youth regardless of race, religion, gender or color. Cool Islam has held numerous activities that encourage youth and family participation. Examples include tutoring children from low-income families, sports tournaments, packing meals for the homeless, collecting school supplies for local needy schools, to name a few. In his free time, Razib likes to spend time with his family, read books and travel.
